Blogarama - The Blog directory
One of several massive blog search sites; kinda fun to browse or see what comes up in any topic you might be interested in.

The Open Directory - www.dmoz.org
from their website: "The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive
human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by

There is a concerted effort to find and maintain showing opportunities through-out the city. If you need places to show and artists to talk with, this is a dependable group. Joan and Liz and others will be glad to welcome you.

Daily Paintings from Elin Pendleton
What an inspiration. An artist who produces work on an almost daily basis, most of it very good too! :-)
Free subscription to her email delivery of her work done each day. Usually has a short commentary re the work shown.

FineArtViews Newsletter
This is a very nice arts newsletter I also happen to contribute to once in awhile. Like most of the good things and people in my life, I don't always agree with the viewpoint, but most always interesting, informative, and open to discussion.
They also occasionally reprint some of Robert Genn's newsletters (link also listed on this page), which gives you an idea of the quality level Clint Watson at this newsletter is aiming for.

Glenn Tunstull
Following an internationally recognized design career, Glenn has
commited himself to expressing himself through his fine art paintings;
though he's from the northeast, many of his colorful, large color dot
(really more organic in shape than a dot) coastal renditions remind me
terribly of Galveston, capturing wind swept sun-drenched days just
"being".

Google
I've recently (starting late '07) begun experimenting with both placing ads on targeted sites and having context related ads placed on my own site via Google's Adwords and Adsense programs respectively.
Too soon to give a full endorsement, but both programs appear promising.
The breadth of what's offered in both programs makes this worth knowing about and checking out.

LMNOPeople
Edye, the designer who runs this business, is also responsible for designing and producing what we are calling my Art Card announcing my participation in ArtExpo March 2007 in New York.
She can produce in quantity or in small doses, can stay simple or customize. In addition to designing or using her stock designs, she can embellish with a variety of textures and colors.
Needless to say, I highly recommend her work.
Update: Dec '07:
Second Christmas season the owner, Edye Giordano, has created new hand made creations perfect for little gifts, many of them personalized, often cutting her own designs from fabric and other material. Very nice work.

Vic Mastis
Vic i have never met, but we've corresponded for almost a year now since I exhibited at ArtExpo New York 2007; her site
shows an extensive awards recognition in her St Louis and surrounding
area, and she recently completed her first exhibiting at ArtExpo, but
in their first show in Las Vegas! Her images on-line of her use of
gold leaf are fabulous.
