Austin, Tx. - April 8, 2008 - Artist / Writer Adan Lerma presents a poetic eight-count of topics of original poetry: Love, Family, Sports, Occupations, Friends, Inspirational, Occasions, and Places.
An on-going growing collection of works since the early 90’s, each week, new and older works are posted online, encouraging the interested reader to return again.
Each of Adan’s poems includes an artist commentary; often with personal relevant information about each work. "The how’s and why’s," says Adan.
"So much of everything interests me," adds Adan, "I ended up doing these short pieces on anything that caught my interest. Many times, it was a subject someone knew, and brought to my attention. Like ’Nursing.’" Other times, it just had more of me in it, and i used it to create a poem like ’Cross Country.’"
Personalization of each poem on parchment tone paper, matted with a non-acidic backing, is available. Plus, a non-commercial free-use option is also offered on his website.

once again my commentary's a couple days later than i'd like, but not as much to add in re to this one, 'cept that it was unplanned - was supposed to be an "off" week from doing a news release, then thought twice, thrice, and finally decided, how could i pass up on natl poetry month?
webwire's release procedure is pretty straight forward, so it didn't take all that much time
this is the first news release in my on-going series w/webwire i didn't place links in within the body of the news release text, and i may go back and add one or two, 'cause it seems a little bare without some, as well as a waste of good opportunity :-)
