wimberley's another whole part and kind of the texas hill country from the lost maples hill country; i talked a little bit about that in my artist commentary, in my poem, "enchanted rock," listed below
essentially the air has more moisture around wimberley than further out toward lost maples, and of course this also changes the vegetation
many artists and galleries are in both parts of the hill country, providing lots to see and enjoy, or discover and paint
it's a treat to have so much varied beauty so close by
