"the act of giving your thoughts to one you love can be as important as
the thought itself" - adan
Sports Fan
Unusually rabid in devotion.
Ultra zealous, spouting all the teams’
stats, shortcomings and strengths.
Hardy and rugged in mind and spirit,
the sports fan endures snow
on the TV, electrical storms
on the radio, and the droughts
between games by
infusing with plenty of liquids.
A true warrior of perception,
able to withstand eighteen hour days
on the weekend,
with or without food,
bathroom, or most human beings.
This creature, the Sports Fan,
is a survivor.
If their significant other
doesn’t unplug them first.
