A Gift for RememberingTM
Artist's Comment: as my wife frequently points out, i love babies, but then, i've never had to raise one 24/7, just play and enjoy them; even with my own children, i worked when they were infants, and missed much of things i'll never even know of
but i do love the gurgly giggly spontaneous natural laugh of an infant barely a few months old
the clarity of the sound of such pure literally infant laughter must be the first bells ever sounded; this poem just tries to capture a touch of that resonance, of that sound, within me
