Artist's Comment: i added "it's strange" in parenthesis to the title from the original, and left the poem fairly intact as is; without the addition, the title just seemed to be for another work, not one specifically, but not this one; maybe one still coming :-)
the related poem is related, to me, by the connection of memory; both have to do with a focus on the present time as it relates to something past, yet still very influential
this work seems more "away" from me than most, like a place or piece of mind not my normal way; i found it kinda strange and revealing to my ownself that the language seems to say that "missing" is itself sweet, even if not "as sweet" as being with someone close, yet simultaneously, harder than any bad times spent
