A Gift for RememberingTM
Artist's Comment: it's well known how healing and beneficial having a pet is for us human beings; and i found it perfectly fitting and fun to find everyday images in my own life experience i could connect to regarding having a pet; right now we are currently kept by a nearly 12 year tabby named "leo"
the last few lines, being that having our affection, being with us, and having steady dependable food are so basic to our pets, were i thought especially "on" in dovetailing both their emotional and physical needs with ours :-)
