Artist's Comment: this is a paraphrase attempt to see friendship from someone like my wife's eyes
though the poem has a decidely female take on what the two friends enjoy about each other's company, the core element, having a similarity of the heart (in these two great friends' case, a sameness of the heart they say) must be true for either sex
what experiences or expectations that core is grounded upon would differ from person to person, but it's enough to connect two human lives closely; hard to argue with that
