Original Poetry - Love Series: Love's Unscheduled Visit

Artist's Comment: an early working title, "love struck" didn't quite fit the sense i wanted to express, the almost subtle yet brick hard impact of falling in love
the progressive shift from faint promising recognition of what might be, to secured locked-in knowledge of having one's heart penetrated, possibly permanently, without warning, seemed more... "unscheduled" :-)
like another poem posted this week, "magic", i added text, though this time more substantially, essentially, gutting the second half and creating a newer work from that gutted half to be posted next week, "digital love"
the earlier work had tried to combine too much of two themes; i don't consider having two themes some kind of sacred no-no, the poem just plain didn't work for me anymore :-)
i should add i hear the same in regard to multiple point-of-views in a visual work of art; certainly one strong sustained point of view can be very satisfying, yet the impressionists prided themselves in their early work of having more than one focal point; the question is: can you pull it off?
sometimes you just won't know til you try :-)

the thought itself" - adan
Special notes:
The text presented in the photo example below is how we print, a more cursive pretty font that won't reprint well here.
Also, we adjust the font size of the title, copyright, personalization, to fit both the writing itself, and the constraints of the mat opening (window) of the 8x10's we use.
