Artist's Comment: written with the simple intent to express how the cliché - the "everyday" worn out almost, is used or expressed so often because of it's innate appeal to quickly express a recognized commonly held feeling
whew - that explanation almost wore "me" out :-)
but i've always liked this poem, it's simplicity, it's truthfulness
it has often made and would still make a lasting gift for someone special in your life, especially matted and personalized where it can be enjoyed and remembered easily
