whelming today, many many people showed, beautiful sunshine most the day said goodbye to another of my most favored, my one painting (to date) of monet's garden in giverny,
"monet's garden, spring rain"
so many different people all interested in art, russian astronomer w/daughter, new jersey truck driver and his gal, young boy w/his artist mom, so many nationalities so many languages, it's been a delight, so varied and yet, once you speak w/anyone of them, so similarly human, each interested in beauty and color and things good
sheila decided to take a break and walked to macy's at 34th & 7th ave; when she got back the aisles were still pretty crowded and she said evidently all the people who weren't at artexpo were at macys :-)
after, ended up eating at the brewery directly across the street from last night's shell fish fest (added note: heartland brewery, had too many ounces of red rooster malted ale, bowls of really good gumbo soup bedded w/rice, split a huge turkey burger w/loads of smooth bleu cheese chunks, oh, and mounds of ketchup hungry fries, good thing we were close to the hotel again
another full day tomorrow, wrap up the show on monday, then two full days sketchily planned to museums, the rockefeller skating rink and nearby observation tower (91 flrs up, 360 view of the city), central park, and, maybe, some times square located jazzercise
