Artist's Comment: i was initially surprised at the depth of positive response to this writing, but shouldn't have been; i have both a cousin and nephew i've learned much about the specialness entrusted or given to our lives at so many levels
primarily, as i've tried to express in this poem, the specialness stems from the person
